  1. Per the original question this does not select a them based on the Dark/Light mode of the system. This allows you to make a theme based on a color palette that changes with Dark.Light mode. – Jimmy Bosse Feb 5 at 3:34.
  2. After Dark CC Theme For All Windows 10 Theme For All Windows10 Versions 10240, 10586, 1607, 1703, 1709, 1803, 1809, 1903, 1909, 2004, 20H2 Compatible for both x64 & x86 syst.
  3. I really struggle with Dark Mode - I don't THINK because I've been using grey Mac O/Ss for 30 years, but it feels like there's greater contrast options in Light Mode. Dark mode inevitably feels like high-contrast to me. Also, dark background = Photoshop paste board for me. Maybe it's just habitual.

It's not just the latest versions of Mac OS that can have morning, noon and night versions of their wallpapers The original Mac OS 9 Appearance desktop photos can be used to (manually) create a different look according to the time in the day, when using OS 9. The Early Light, Light and Dark versions of the desktop just need to be dropped into the 'Photos', in the 'Desktop Pictures', 'Appearance' folder in the System folder (System Folder/Appearance/Desktop Pictures/Photos), then set using the 'Appearance' Control Panel, with the Mac OS Default theme 'underneath', then placing one of these pictures (using 'Fill Screen' in the picture settings) as the desktop, changing them throughout the day and evening. Note: only use these if you really want to spend time altering the desktop look of your OS 9 machine (or emulator) each day!
